Brazi Snaks · Your information

Privacy policy

A clear explanation of the information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

1. About this policy

Brazi Snaks (“we”, “us” or “our”) is a Brazilian cheese bread business based in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Our ABN is 37 867 786 763.

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, subscribe to updates or contact us.

2. Information we collect

  • Waitlist and subscription details: your email address, any other details you choose to provide through our sign-up form, and records of your subscription preferences and consent.
  • Enquiries: your name, contact details and the information you send us by email or social media.
  • Technical information: our website and service providers may receive your IP address, browser and device details, pages requested and the date and time of your visit through ordinary server logs and embedded services.
  • Email activity: our email service may record deliveries, bounces, unsubscribes and, where tracking is enabled, email opens and link clicks.

We collect information directly from you and through the services used to run our website and email updates. You can browse without joining the waitlist. If you do not provide an email address, we cannot send you waitlist updates.

Please avoid sending sensitive information, such as medical details, through our waitlist form.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • manage the waitlist and send the launch information you request;
  • send news, market dates, product updates and offers where you have agreed to receive them;
  • respond to enquiries and manage your communication preferences;
  • maintain and protect our website and email services, prevent misuse and understand email performance; and
  • meet applicable legal requirements and handle complaints.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. Email updates and your choices

Joining our waitlist allows us to send the updates described when you sign up. We will keep marketing within the scope of your consent. Contacting us with an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.

You can withdraw your marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or emailing hello@brazisnaks.com.au. We will action unsubscribe requests within five working days. There is no charge, and you do not need to create an account.

We may retain a limited record of your opt-out so that we can respect it. Unsubscribing does not prevent us from responding to an enquiry you send us.

5. Service providers and overseas processing

We use service providers to host the website, manage email and deliver our waitlist updates. They may process information needed to provide those services.

Our waitlist uses an embedded EmailOctopus form. EmailOctopus processes subscriber information on our behalf. Its published privacy policy states that contact lists are stored on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland and that its staff and email delivery providers may process information in other countries. See EmailOctopus’s privacy policy for more information.

Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. When these fonts are requested, Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details. See Google’s privacy policy.

These services can involve processing outside Australia. Other processing locations depend on the providers and services in use. You can contact us for information about the providers handling your data.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, or to professional advisers where reasonably necessary to handle a legal matter. Social media platforms handle information under their own privacy policies when you interact with us there.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies to operate forms, maintain security or remember preferences. Email tracking, where enabled, may use tracking pixels and tracked links to record opens and clicks.

You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, although doing so may affect embedded forms. Your email app may also let you block remote images to limit open tracking. You can unsubscribe if you do not want to receive further marketing emails.

7. Storage, security and retention

We hold information in the business accounts and systems we use to manage enquiries and subscriptions. We take reasonable steps to limit access to people who need it and protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online service can guarantee complete security.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to enquiries, managing subscriptions and meeting legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Limited consent, complaint or unsubscribe records may need to be retained, and backup copies may remain until overwritten in the provider’s normal backup cycle.

8. Access, corrections and complaints

To ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email hello@brazisnaks.com.au. Include enough information for us to locate your records and explain your request. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information.

We will review your request and aim to respond within 30 days. If we need more time, or cannot fulfil a request because information must be retained or another restriction applies, we will explain why.

If you make a complaint, we will investigate, contact you if we need more information and explain the outcome. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), which can advise whether your complaint falls within its jurisdiction. Concerns about unsolicited marketing can be raised with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date. Where necessary, we will also notify you of significant changes or seek fresh consent.
